Welcome to my Morning Espresso. A collection of thoughts and stuff I found interesting on the Interweb. Enjoy!
Dean Wilson Is a Champ
Dean Wilson’s 2025 World Tour is off to an amazing start as he clinched the British Arenacross Championship over the weekend. At Manchester’s AO Arena, Wilson made it six for six main event wins in a row, which was enough to clinch the title over fellow Brit Conrad Mewse. Box checked for DeanO, now lets bring him home to race for Factory Honda.
“WOOO I’M THE BRITISH CHAMPION🏆🇬🇧 What a perfect way to end the @arenacrossworldtour with a clean sweep & winning every round. I have had so much fun doing this series & to be a British champ is something to check off the checklist✔️, Meeting all the fans & batteling with the boys was awesome. Big thank you to @yarrivek for allowing me to have a flexible schedule to do this world tour! The boys at @stblazeymx / @armor_vision for making this all happen. Looking forward to the final round of the @arenacrossworldtour in Abu Dahbi on July 5th! NEXT UP 🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅 LETS GOO @supercrosslive“

The Next Generation
Ready to feel old as shit? Ryan Villopoto’s son, Brax, won the KTM Jr. race over the weekend in Arlington. Yep, RV’s kid is already out here winning races and this is the world we are living in. I’m going to crawl into a hole now.

Justin Hill Is Amazing
The enigma that is Justin Hill was on full display in Arlington. He qualified fastest, challenged the factory dudes for three races and finished fifth overall. Justin Hill, everyone. Could he win next week in Daytona? Sure, why not. Could he get 15th? Sure, why not. I have no idea what to expect from J Hill each week and I’m fine with that. Give me this Justin Hill every few rounds and I’ll be happy.
Aaron Hansel at Racer X talked to Hill after this race and this response was so awesome.
How good does it feel coming back to your pits with the fastest time.
I was actually mad at first, because I didn’t want Dakota [Tedder] to be right. He came in and was like, “You’re better than this,” and this and that. He can get under my skin, but he hyped me big time today. At first I was like, “Damnit, he was right.” But I was happy that I made a step in the right direction.
So you were mad you were the fastest guy?
Yep!
