Welcome to the first and possibly last rendition of Troy Dog’s Tiers where I’m breaking down the 250SX East/West Showdown by, you guessed it, tiers. This is where I place each rider by where I expect their finishing range to be at this weekend’s race in East Rutherford. Do you agree or disagree? Tier 1: The Winners

Tier 2: 3rd-5th
- RJ Hampshire
- Haiden Deegan

- Jo Shimoda
How about this list of heavy hitters? That’s a lot of riders and not a lot of spots. Who will get the last podium position? Methinks that it’ll be RJ Hampshire, but I wouldn’t be surprised if any of these riders get on the podium. Cameron McAdoo would be in there if he wasn’t injured.
Tier 3: 6th-10th
Mitchell Oldenburg(Per Steve Matthes, MCR is not racing this weekend)- Derek Kelley

All of these riders have top ten speed and it’s going to be absolute chaos trying to tell them that some of them won’t be in there.

The crazy part is that all of these riders have top ten speed on their respective coasts, but it’s a whole new ballgame at the Showdown.

Some of these riders won’t even make the main event, which is the wild part about combining each class. I’ve listed 33 riders in this column and we have 11 riders on this page that will not make it in. That’s an incredible amount of talent missing. These LCQ’s are going to be wild!
