Welcome to Morning Espresso where we recap some news from around the world.

Hunter Lawrence Inks New Gear Deal

One of the worst kept secrets in the pits is the impending move of the Lawrence bros, Hunter and Jett, to Honda HRC for next year. With GEICO Honda shutting down, Honda will plug in Hunter and Jett to the factory team for 2021.

While that deal is not official, what is official is Hunter has inked a new gear deal with Alpinestars. Expect a Jett announcement soon, as he too will sign with the brand.

AJE Has New Title Sponsor

AJE Motorsports, which is moving to GasGas in 2021, will also welcome a new title sponsor next year. The team announced that Motul has jumped onboard as title sponsor.

Mitchell Falk and Chris Blose are already signed for next year, while the team hopes to announce a third rider soon.

While it’s great the team has a new title sponsor it does mean we miss out on what would have been the Gas Monkey/GasGas/AJE Motorsports team. Dammit!
