Each week, Slaw, Troy, and sometimes Denny Stephenson will come up with some topics and then list the riders most likely to accomplish those feats. Hence the title “Most Likely”. Most would call us brilliant.
Could Drew Adams most likely get a podium in a moto at Ironman?
Troy Dog: Remember back in the day when a rider who just graduated from Loretta Lynn’s would just come in and run the pace? I feel like Adams isn’t a normal guy coming up. I’m sensing something special here. I even wrote a piece about him being generational. He’s won in Canada, Loretta’s, Supercross, and the Combine, so he’s ready. I think it’s very much possible for him to get a start and put in some great laps. I have a good feeling. Shut it, Slaw.
Slaw Dog: Is this a real question, Troy? I hope not.
Who is most likely going to be on Team USA for the Motocross of Nations?
Troy Dog: I think it will be Sexton, Deegan, and Tomac. It seems like Tomac really wants to go and although AP deserves it, how can you tell ET no?
Slaw Dog: Depends on Eli Tomac this weekend. I think it will be Sexton, Deegan and either Tomac or AP.
Will Hunter Lawrence most likely get that overall win that he’s been chasing?
Troy Dog: Man, I don’t think so. I think Sexton is going to do everything to go 1-1 and not give anyone any confidence heading into the SMX Playoffs.
Slaw Dog: I think so. Sexton is in points saving mode and Hunta has been much better than the rest of the field not named Chase Sexton. So, yes.
It’s a stacked field, but who is most likely to win the Moto Combine?
Troy Dog: Slaw is an idiot and doesn’t realize that Adams is MAKING HIS PRO DEBUT AT IRONMAN IN THE 250 CLASS FOR MONSTER ENERGY PRO CIRCUIT KAWASAKI. It’s a stacked class and literally any of these riders on the line could get the job done. I think that it’s finally going to be Avery Long’s turn to shine, but he’s going to have Caden Dudney to deal with…and Landen Gordon…and Landon Gibson…and Leum Oehlhof…and….
Slaw Dog: Drew Adams. He’s been on fire this season… from head to toe.
How is Ken Roczen most likely to do in the 250 class? Top five? Podium? Win?
Troy Dog: It’s Ken Roczen, how does he not get on the podium?
Slaw Dog: I’ll go top 5. I don’t think a win is in the cards.
Is Levi Kitchen most likely to finish out the season with another overall win?
Troy Dog: Yes. It’s all adding up. Chef is going to cook and keep producing some five star meals for Mitch Payton.
Slaw Dog: Stamp another for the Chef. He’s on a roll and with Deegan having already clinched, it’s time to cook. (I’ll show myself out)
Is Malcolm Stewart most likely to follow up his Budds Creek performance with another top five?
Troy Dog: I believe that he will. Mookie has kept grinding this season, that’s for sure. His knee injury was pretty bad last year. It was cool to see him put it all together at Budds. I say that Mookie is most likely to get another top five at Ironman.
Slaw Dog: Sure, why not? Mookie has been solid all outdoors and will end the year on a positive note… his first career podium.
After looking at the confirmed rider list for the 2024 Vurb Classic, is this most likely the most STACKED class of Hired Guns ever?
Troy Dog: Yes, it’s official. I put together a list of some of the best amateur riders in the country and they are all going to be at OUR event. Just wait until you see the list because I’m unveiling it next week! STACKED!
Slaw Dog: I’ve never seen a class more stacked than this. Not even Loretta’s.
