Eli Tomac is up 16 points on Ken Roczen with three rounds left. Who is most likely to win the championship?

Slaw: I have this as a toss up right now. One main event ruined Ken’s night at the opener which has left him in a big hole with just three rounds left. There are a lot of points still on the board with the three mains and Superfinal and SuperPole, so this is far from over. If you’re making me pick right now, I’m leaning Tomac.

Troy: Tomac is back. This is only stop #1 on his 2025 domination tour. First he’s taking WSX, then he’s taking SX, and then the Pro Motocross Championship. Going out on top like he deserves!

Shane McElrath is up 10 points on Max Anstie (who isn’t racing the rest of the series) and Cole Thompson, with Enzo Lopes a further three points back. Who is most likely to win the SX2 championship?

Slaw: WIih Anstie not racing the rest of the series, McElrath is the clear favorite. While everyone else has had time off since Canada, Sugar Shane has been competing in the Australian Supercross Championship where he currently leads the SX2 championship. With Cole Thompson you never really know what can happen, but Shane has the most experience in this field.

Troy: I really wish that Shane could race the 250 class here in the States because he’d be a regional champion right now. Sugar Stache Shane will cruise to the WSX championship.

Double header in Australia this weekend. Who is most likely to win the overall in 450?

Slaw: I think this comes down to Tomac or Roczen. Joey has been crushing in Australia in that championship so he’ll be more accustomed to the conditions, but I just can’t bet against Tomac or Kenny. I’ll go Tomac on both nights.

Troy: To be honest, I spaced and didn’t even realize that Tomac was racing all of these. It’s gotta be him.

Who is most likely to win the overall in 250?

Slaw: Shane all day. He’s been racing in Australia and with no Anstie, he’s the favorite. He wins both rounds.

Troy: Once a member of the Troy Dog Squad, always a member (except that one guy). I helped take Shane to this victory in Aus…somehow.

Tough opener for Dean, but he’s been crushing in Australian Supercross. Is he most likely to get on the podium at a round this weekend?

Slaw: Hmm… a podium might be tough for Dean but he will be much better this weekend, as long as he’s quit his construction job.

Troy: Dean-O opened up on his Instagram this week about what he’s going through in life. He’s got more to worry about than dirtbikes right now, but if I had to guess, I’d say he channels this into a podium.
