The 2024-2025 AMA Arenacross Championship is in Boise, ID, this Friday and Saturday for rounds 3 and 4 of the championship. Is this week’s edition of “Most Likely” we look at some of the key points after two rounds.
Vince Friese Took The Opener in Reno, Can He Do It Again in Boise?
I will say yes. He just took down Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen (albeit in just one race) in Abu Dhabi on a very arenacross-style track, so why not Kyle Peters and crew? The thing Vince has one his side is he’s been racing while Peters hasn’t. While I don’t think he sweeps (like he did at Round 1 in Reno), I do have him for the overall this weekend … both nights.
Kyle Peters and Ryan Breece Both Had Troubles at the Opener, Will That Change?
After doing some heavy research and watching that video above, it appears the Reno track was subpar which led to a lot of pissed off riders and some weird results. While I get we will never get a 100% satisfactory rate with tracks, Reno appeared to be hated in all directions. With that said, I think we see a much more consistent KP and Breece this weekend.
Who Is a Darkhorse We Should Watch For?
Team Solitaire Heartbeat Hot Sauce Yamaha’s own Robbie Wageman. He wasn’t great in Reno, but like I said above, that was likely due track conditions. Wageman is a top-10 Supercross guy, so why not top-10 Arenacross guy?
