Motivation Monday: Hunter Lawrence

As esteemed members of the media our goal is not to tear people down, but to build them up. To motivate. To inspire. We have a lot of experience in this, as we’ve been motivating ourselves to work for damn near free since 2007. This is a new column where we find someone in need of our help and stretch out our healing hand to guide them.

The key to understanding this is that not all methods work for everyone. While healing crystals may be your key to success, others may find clarity by watching old videos of The Secret to be the best version of themselves. Tried that? Don’t stop there, you’ve got motivational speakers such as Tony Robbins, healing roots used by the ancient Cherokee tribes, Jin Shin, Tai Chi, the list goes on.

For our first installment of Motivation Monday we want to channel Hunter Lawrence. Hunter, this is Bird Dog speaking to you from a place of peace and tranquility. I’ve followed your career and even touted you as a title contender this year to the internal dogs here at Vurb. I want you to close your eyes and remember 2019. Now go deeper into your self conscious and smell the fresh cut grass from High Point Raceway. Feel the vibration of the bike between your legs as you effortlessly rip holeshots and finish out the day with a 1-3 for second overall.

Need more? Fast forward a few weeks to that hot July day in Minnesota. Remember what you ate for breakfast that day, which boot you put on first before practice, did you have your favorite underwear on that day? Now remember the feeling of doing. Yes, just doing. Not questioning your ability, but knowing your capabilities as you ripped off 1-6 moto finishes for third overall.

That’s the Hunter Lawrence we know you can be. That’s the Hunter Lawrence you will be moving forward. Now go to the store, find some Ginkgo Biloba, sprinkle some of that shit on your Wheaties and go out there and do what we all know you are capable of and kick some ass.

If that doesn’t work call me and we can talk through some other healing methods. Consider Bird Dog your personal motivation coach and know that I have nothing but your best interest in mind.
