MotoSport.com Supports AMPRO Factory Yamaha for the 2022 Season

Portland, OR – MotoSport.com announced its support today of the AM-PRO Factory Yamaha Team for the 2022 Grand National Cross Country and National Enduro seasons.

MotoSport marks its return to the premier off-road racing series with sponsorship support for the AM-PRO Factory Yamaha Team which pits Steward Baylor and Layne Michael in the 450 XC1 class, Mike Witkowski in the XC2 class and Rachael Archer in the WXC class. All four riders are expected to compete for the 2022 GNCC Championship in their respective classes as well as the National Enduro series.

Off-road racing has become one of the most popular spectator and participant sports in recent years as more and more riders and sports enthusiasts look to the outdoors for recreation, fun and excitement. MotoSport.com, the premier online leader for dirt bike parts and gear, continues its grassroots effort to expand the reach for riding and racing to anyone who wants to throw a leg over.

“The AM-PRO Factory Yamaha Team is poised to challenge for the 2022 GNCC Championships in the XC1 and WXC classes and MotoSport could not be happier to come alongside and do what we can to help in their effort,” said Scott Huddleston, Vice President and General Manager of MotoSport. “We look forward to seeing a couple of #1 plates by the end of the year.”

The AM-Pro Factory Yamaha team boasts one of the strongest line-ups in the 2022 GNCC series with Baylor coming into the season ready to take the XC1 title after finishing second in 2021 along with a fierce competitor in Michael, who finished ninth last year. Witkowski took sixth in the XC2 class and Archer looks for revenge in the Women’s Class after losing out on the title by one point a year ago. The AM-PRO Factory Yamaha team is led by 7-time National Champion and AMA Hall of Fame Member Randy Hawkins.

“We are pumped to have MotoSport as part of our program for the 2022 season and the future,” Hawkins said. “With all MotoSport has to offer in the Off-Road world and our team’s success this should make for an exciting season. The fans will also enjoy the ideas MotoSport will bring to the races.”

The GNCC series runs up and down the East Coast beginning the weekend of Feb. 19-20 at Big Buck Farm in Union, SC and ending Oct. 22-23 with Round 13 at the Ironman in Crawfordsville, IN. Racing fans and customers of MotoSport can expect to see #1 powersports company present at every round. The 10 round National Enduro series begins May 1 and ends Nov. 6. Racing fans and customers of MotoSport can expect to see #1 powersports company present at all rounds.
