Former Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing rider Nick Romano has announced his plans for the 2025 SuperMotocross season.
After spending his first two and a half pro seasons with Star, Romano is headed to Phoenix Racing Honda for next year.
“Sophomore season coming up, very excited for the future ❤️🔥 let’s do this thing @phxracinghonda,” Romano wrote on Instagram announcing the deal.
The New York native turned pro with Star Racing at the start of the 2022 Pro Motocross season following four titles at Loretta Lynn’s. He finished 16th in his rookie season but missed all of 2023 with a knee injury.
Romano debuted in Monster Energy Supercross with the team in the 2024 250SX East Region and 13th overall. In his second season in Pro Motocross he finished 16th overall and ended his season, and time with Star Racing, by taking home 13th overall in the SuperMotocross Playoffs.
