Like a season of Days of our Lives, I’ve been following Ryan Hughes Instagram with the same undying curiosity as a house mom watching soap operas in the ’80s. Where is the plot going? What sticky situation will Ryno find himself in next? The questions are endless and the storyline is sporadic and impossible to follow, but I can’t stop watching.
It’s been a few weeks since my curiosity began with my initial story: How Ryan Hughes’ IG Account Made Me Feel Like a Piece of Shit, so I wanted to let our readers know what’s been going on with the legend that is Ryan Hughes.
After denouncing masks and faking asthma to get onto a plane without one, Ryan headed to Idaho to spread his wealth of knowledge to some amateurs. That’s when things got interesting.
As you can see, after a nude dip in the hot springs, Hughes hit a buck. Little did that poor buck know he was charging head first at a Ryno. Needless to say he didn’t stand a chance in hell, as hooves and racks and hair were flying everywhere, and you can bet your ass none of it was from the Ryno.
Instead of calling AAA, he leaned on his faithful IG followers for support, which he got. Some die-hard fan towed him from Wyoming to Colorado and instead of complaining about it, Hughes turns it into a motivational experience. I’m now more positive and confident in my own struggles after following Hughes through his experience. Ryno – 1, Life Not Going Your Way – 0.
Once in Colorado, Hughes does all sorts of stuff that us mortal humans could only dream of. From taming a tarantula, to ripping motos with Eli Tomac, to doing box jumps onto a boulder with no ACL in his knee, and somehow time traveling to Sedona throughout it all.
The simple fact is I’m not worthy to hang this dude’s coat, but maybe that’s what this venture is all about? Maybe at the end of my time obsessing over Ryan Hughes’ Instagram life, I’ll become a better version of myself.
Ryan, if you’re out there reading this, hit me up. I could use more Ryno Power in my life and I trust you’re the one that can get me there.
