POWER RANKINGS ARE HERE!

The usual suspects are all here. We’ve got Denny Stephenson, Ginger Dog, Jason Lawrence, Troy Dog, and that idiot Slaw Dog to bring you the best Power Rankings lists in the sport!

Ginger Dog

-The people of moto lost one of the greats last weekend. Nancy Lee, along with her husband Gene, founded one of the greatest tracks of all time: RedBud. She lived to the celebrated age of 83 and leaves behind a tremendous legacy. RedBud MX holds a special place in my heart. I’ve watched many races there and even walked the dirt with my sons. On behalf of many, I want to extend a thank you to the Ritchie family for creating and maintaining one of the most magical moto places on earth. We will miss you Nanc Dog.

-Red plate! I don’t think I have smiled more watching a 450 main. Aaron rode his heart out and it showed that entire race. Toward the end, I was in full dad stance in front of the TV with my hands on my head. I was fully prepared for Webb to make the pass. AP ended up holding him off and we all got the post race cowboy interview/dance sesh we needed. Your fellow Ohioans are proud of you Pless.

-Nate Thrasher showed up hungry. That 250 heat restart didn’t even seem to throw him off. I was impressed with how well he rode. He was consistent the entire race and it earned him a P1. Nice job Thrash!

-Webb ended up alongside Pless on the podium. Yes, the P2 was impressive, but what really stayed with me is how he handled himself in the press conference. He wholeheartedly congratulated Aaron for winning. I’m pretty sure he made a comment about how if anyone was going to beat him, he was glad it was Plessinger. Some of these young dudes could learn a thing or two from Webb about good sportsmanship.

-He’s giving assertive father figure and I’m all about it.

-Sexton went down off the start. Even though he was sitting somewhere in the low teens, he made a charge for top ten and it paid off. He ended up 8th overall. It may not be a typical Sexton finish, but landing anywhere in the single digits after two crashes is pretty solid.

-Yoder is currently top ten in points and he also finished 9th in San Diego. The squad is barking hard for this doggie.

-Cade with the holeshot! Seeing you out front was very cool.

-Hampshire’s holeshot at the start of the 250 main had me clenching all the cheeks. He rode hard and fell hard. Overall 6th. Man, I wish I could help hold this dude up.

-I love that Prado gets to stick around one more race to live his dream and race supercross in the States.

Law Dog

Editor’s note: Law Dog only provided a list this week. It’s okay, we’re just happy that he’s here with us!

-Man, I want that hat. Such an iconic look.

-Not much else needs to be said. Amazing.

-I’m here for all of it! Feed me more.

-Best social media out there. Don’t sleep on Moto Twitter.

-Getting overlooked here. No one had him in the points lead through three rounds.

-They done pissed off Coop. Bad move.

-Getting overlooked. Great start to the season on a privateer team for that matter.

-Weirdest start to a career ever. He had FIVE wins and I don’t think another top ten. Win or yeah…

-Nice bounce back for Bam.

-Getting overlooked. Great start to the season on a privateer team for that matter.

Den Dog

– AP finally gets the win. One of the most popular wins in SX history. From the fans to his fellow riders, everyone was pumped for the 7.

-She is currently leading the series.

-We would all like to welcome Thrasher to 2024. Glad you could finally make it.

-If anyone says they had AP heading into round 4 with the red plate, they are a liar

-I’m not gonna say Chase may have gotten in Webb’s way on purpose. But I’m definitely not saying he didn’t get in Webb’s way on purpose.

-Coop is the modern day Michael Myers. Ya can’t kill him. And he will eventually Chase you down.

-I said before the 24SX season, I would have preferred to watch Marchbanks on a 450. But I am appreciating him only 10 points down from Smith and the red plate.

-8 Through 10: I appreciate and love Triple Crown rounds so much, they deserve all three spots. One for each crown.

T-Dog

– I’m going to be AP7’s hat holder at Indy. The Cowboy finally got redemption from Detroit and the entire industry was happy to see it.

– How about Garrett Marchbanks and the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX team! TMC now has two podiums in three rounds and sits third in points!

– Cade Clason has made all three main events this season. To celebrate he went to the hills to do some sick Cade Airs to front flip!

– Thrasher is the darkhorse for this championship. Sure, he seems out of it right now, but it’s a long series and if he goes on a win streak it won’t take long to get back into this.

– Jason Weigandt is getting the call to be the lead announcer this weekend at Anaheim 2. Some of us have been waiting for this since Loretta Lynn’s 2005.

– Yoder was on the Squad Pod this week to discuss his season thus far. He’s had his career best results and sits 9th in points on his Partzilla/PRMX Julien Perrier ride.

– Webb has the eye of the tiger right now.

– Shoutout to Cole Davies, who was the only rider on the 250SX Futures entry list yesterday. I’m a fan.

– Roczen has been one of the fastest riders and should have three podiums right now. He’s looking for redemption at A2.

– Tomac is the King of Triple Crowns. He has the most main event wins and overalls, so to leave him out of the ranks this week would be a bad look.
