POWER RANKINGS ARE HERE!
Troy Dog and Slaw Dog don’t take weeks off. We continue to grind throughout the season and stack our points. We’re consistent, like Dungey in his career, we’re the diesels on the Vurbmoto team. We’re back to racing in Foxborough this weekend for round 13 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship.
Slaw Dog
-What an amazing event. Probably the best ever. I have no bias at all. Promise.
-WOW! Blown away at the amount of talent that is out there.
-What a story. From no ride to a three-year deal in a matter of months.
-I think he won 100 titles this year and 100 last year at World Mini. His dad probably hates us because those trophies are massive and I bet they take up their entire garage.
-WE brought Steve to an amateur race and HE loved it. He loved it so much he legally changed his name.
-Dude is on fire in MXGP.
-Next Euro to come to the US, mark my words. Has SX-style IMO.
-He’s so back.
-He still leads the points.
-Webb gonna Webb. This title fight is nowhere near over.

– The man took a last minute fill-in ride to a three-year deal! Schock told me that he didn’t go to ClubMX looking for a ride at first. He went to clear his head and ride his two stroke and then the rest fell into place. This is the feel good story of 2024. Schock’s progression has been fun to watch. Let’s see how far he can climb.
– My great friend, the legend, Denny Stephenson had his staples out this week. He’s also returned contributing for us as well! We’re all lucky that he’s still here with us after that crazy ordeal. I’ve been trying to check in on him most days to get an update and it’s always a good one.
– Steve Matthes changed his name to Raycin and crushed the World Mini Grand Prix. Even though I wasn’t invited on the PulpMX show in any form, I’ll still be a great friend and put him on my rankings. I’m glad to see my friend out there ripping his dirt bike, even though he told me that he wouldn’t.
– Wyatt Duff is my new favorite rider and he doesn’t know it yet. He’s Kentucky’s newest rising star and he’s already having a standout year. He did an awesome job at our World Mini Grand Prix. I can’t wait for Loretta’s!
– Nick Romano is coming off of a career best sixth overall at the Indianapolis Triple Crown and I feel like he’s found more speed. His best races are ahead.
– In our Vurbmoto Madness Bracket Challenge we ended up having to do three different polls to decide the winner of the James Stewart vs. Jeremy McGrath matchup. MC ended up winning in the end, but I thought that it would be a landslide considering the championships and wins the King has. Only Stew could give him a run like that!
– Ryder Malinoski had himself a week by signing with the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX amateur team. He will be lining up to his first race with them this weekend in the 250SX Futures class.
– I don’t have beef with Kevin Kelly, but he has some with me. Pray for me.
– Shoutout to Cade Clason who helped out with our Most Likely column last week. It was the off weekend and he filled it out late at night and everything. All I had to do was ask and he said,”Sure, no problem.” Then in classic Troy Dog form I threw some digs in there at him, with his spelling, and he took it like a champ. Good job Cade, let’s do it again!
