Slaw Dog Pre-Glendale Supercross Rankings

-A ton has already been written and said about Kenny and the red plates. I don’t have much to add. Look at that smile in the photo above, THAT SAYS IS ALL! Let’s hope this continues because what a story it is.
-Love it and want more of it!!!!
-Jo may not win this title, but he won over the hearts of many fans even attempting to keep his dream alive. Still can’t believe a pitboard may have ruined it all. This ranks up there with the DV Transworld shoot in weird things that happened to title contenders.
-The surprise of 2025 so far. Crazy to think that just a few months ago Davies was supposed to race in SMX Next and now he’s already on the podium. Bright, bright future for the Kiwi.
-Call me crazy, but I have Coty for a podium this weekend. I think consistency will win out and he’s a veteran and will know when a fourth is fine and when he’ll need to push. A great start, in shorter races is a recipe for success this weekend.
-He’s back!!!!!
-Along with Kenny and Eli and Cooper, great to see the veterans still shredding and in title contention. Let’s enjoy this, because we may not have these dudes around for long. Also, wanna feel old? Watch this:
-Thrown into your pro debut with very little time and come out with a top 10? Insane ride for Drew. Some of us (me) called his success way back in 2020.
-The second biggest surprise of 2025 thus far. No one, and I mean no one, had JuJu leading the points after three rounds. The progression from year one to year two is incredible and he’s only going to get stronger as the season goes along.
-Keeping us entertained on and off the track. He’s got the fuel he needed and I think he may go on a run of wins here soon…
Vurb Wes Pre-Glendale Supercross Rankings

Short and sweet this week, I have 15 minutes before the babysitter leaves and my two kids know it’s Friday and Dada ain’t hitting Monster Energy AMA Supercross this weekend.
- The 2025 season – enough said. We couldn’t have scripted this better even if we tried. I’m just pretty sad we’re not doing Moto Spy this year. I can’t imagine how sick it would be.
- Kenny with a Red Plate = Badass. And it’s undeniable.
- The SMX Tracks were released earlier this week, and damn do they look cool. We always say, “Don’t wish away time,” in reference to our kids, so metaphorically I’m still incredibly excited for what the reason of the SMX season holds, but I can’t wait to see those track in real life. I’m not missing them this year.
- Jettson, back on top. Slawdog, and a million other people, have said he’s the title favorite from square one, and the momentum might just be swinging his way.
- Deegan, like Jett, back on top… and that’s going to be hard to crack now.
- El Hombre starting this season off STRONG. And I freaking love it. Pretty badass that I made a clip of him this week of him racing Roczen in 2005 and now, 20 years later, at A2. My video collection should make this list next week fr.
- Let’s not forget Tomac won at SD, and during the Heat Race at Anaheim 2 I swear I thought, “This dude could have a perfect season minus 1.” Unfortunately for him, that didn’t pan out, but Beast Mode is still very much in the hunt.
- Like my second pick this week, a nod goes to a SUZUKI with the red plate. RM Army Baby. 2004 Cole Gress is rejoicing and enjoying every second of this in that sweet ass yellow, red, and black Suzuki button up. IYKYK. I still want one of those so bad.
- Referrin cruised out in opening ceremonies on a bike, to the podium, and threw down a mini concert for Angel’s Stadium. It was pretty freakin’ cool, and the first time a live performance like this has been incorporated at Supercross. Let’s get him to every round.
- The 500 at Mesquite is sold out, which is why it cracks the Power Rankings this week. It’s an epic day of fundurance racing at Mesquite Moto, an hour and a half north of Las Vegas, equipped with plenty of casinos, beer, and fun if you want to come out and spectate. We have quite a bit of fun things up our sleeves this year. If you want to race it, you are able to join the waiting list here, just incase someone drops out.
