Welcome to the 2023 Slaw/Troy Dog/Ginger Dog Combined 250/450 Top Ten Power Rankings! Slaw, Ginger, and Troy each have created their own list of who they believe carry the most power in the sport. They each have created their own categories and have weighted these people accordingly, whether its speed, following, skills, you name it. Or it could just be random. Basically, whatever is happening that week is fair game.
Each week these rankings will be updated so that you guys can argue about how wrong they are in the comment section! Feel free to tell us if we’re right/wrong/or completely dumb.
Ed Note: Ginger Dog is probably breaking up a fight at school and was unable to write Power Rankings.
Troy Dog
-If you’ve been following along I’ve been crushing SMX Playoff content all week on this very website. I’m biased, but I’d put my content for it against anybody else’s in the game. The biggest purse in the history of the sport is up for grabs with six motos and a different point structure. Let’s go!
-Sexton comes into the playoff with 25 points as the rider to score the most points in the 450 class all season. The 2023 SX champ is ready to end the year with a big pay day.
-Webb returns to the team that brought him to the show: Star Racing. It’ll be his first time racing a Star 450 and it may be the extra juice he needs to be the man in these playoffs. Webb is a gamer and will never be counted out, especially when money is on the line.
-Hunter is going for the sweep of major 250 championships in 2023. The playoffs will be the cherry on top of the sundae.
-Den Dog came on the Squad Pod (available now on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network) to discuss his career, his thoughts on SMX Playoffs, and MXdN. It’s a must listen.
-If you follow me on social media (you should @troydogvurb) you’ll notice I’ve been going absolutely out of control with the term ‘Prime Time’. I’m using it for my Squad for the playoffs to the beat of Deion Sanders and what he’s doing with the Colorado football team. WE Comin’! My ELITE Squad of privateers all made it to the playoffs. Nobody really believed in us as a crew in the beginning, but we’re here now. We’re talking about playoffs and we are just getting started.
-Ken Roczen looked like a class act at the press conference with a long sleeve team shirt, no hat, and his hair done. He’s ready for the playoffs and he’s a great spokesman for the sport.
-Foggy Llama Films creates some of the best content in the sport right now and he’s a big reason that McElrath joined the T-Dog Squad. Thank you Mr. Llama.
-The Detroit Lions BEAT the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. SUCK IT Benny Bloss.
-Chris “I’m not racing this year” Blose has a ride with Phoenix Honda for the playoffs. We should all be thankful that we all got a bonus year out of his career here in the USA.

-Rough start to the series, but hey, at least they will live on. They provide jobs to riders and the industry. If you are rooting against them, you are rooting against riders getting paid.
-KRoc is so back and even pulled his guns out on IG this week.
-It might be down to Slaw, Troy and VurbWes at this point.
-I hate giving Troy credit for anything and I won’t. Den Dog crushed on the Squad Pod. Troy sucked.
