Earlier today, in my Slawdictions column, the most-read column on the entire Internet, I predicted that Michael Mosiman would score a moto podium this weekend at High Point.
Well, that prediction has no chance of coming true now, as the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas team just announced that Mosiman will miss this weekend due to a practice crash during the off-week.
The team did not specify the injury, but said it hopes to have him back at RedBud on Saturday, July 3.
Mosiman finished fourth overall at the opener but struggled with bike problems in the first moto at Thunder Valley and finished 16th overall.
Did I curse Mosiman with my prediction? Nah, I don’t have that kind of power…. I don’t think.
