Slaw Dog
Do you remember that we still have a 250SX East Region? Yeah, Slaw forgot about them dawgs too. They haven’t raced since February 13 (!!!!!!) at Orlando 1. What the f have these dudes been doing for more than two months? Playing video games? Making dawgs? You can’t practice supercross for that damn long.
Anyway, the East Region is back this weekend at Salt Lake City 1 for the first of the final two rounds. Salt Lake City 2 will be the East/West Showdown.
The Title
The title is down to the Monster/Energy Star Racing Yamaha riders of Colt Nichols and Christian Craig. Colt has yet to finish off the podium this year through seven rounds and holds an eight point lead over Craig.
Remember, Craig had a HUGE crash in his heat at Orlando 1 and suffered a hand injury but was able to salvage a third. Since we’ve had eight months between rounds, he’s all healed up heading into the weekend.
The Spoiler
Every other rider is pretty much out of this title chase, but if you’re Craig and looking for someone to help you in points this weekend, look no further than Jett Lawrence. The Jett has dealt with some crashes and injuries this year, but has been super fast, winning Houston 2 and the last round in Orlando.
