Jett Reynolds Out for Unadilla With Broken Collarbone | Schock to Return

This is the type of news we don’t like to see.

The Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX team announced today that Jett Reynolds, who has actually been putting together a great season, broke his collarbone during a practice session last week.

ClubMX Team Manager Mike Bonacci: The bad news: Jett broke his collarbone in a training incident last week. The weather had relegated the team to riding their 450’s on the sand track for training and that is when it happened. It is heartbreaking for the young phenom, but he already had his surgery and is committed to getting back quickly. We will keep you updated as more news is available.

As they’ve said above, no timetable has been set for Reynold’s return to racing yet, but we’ll keep our eyes out for that.

Reynolds was coming off of his career best finish with a 13-10 at Washougal for tenth overall. H had been building all season after spending the majority of his first two seasons injured.

The good news for the team is that Coty Schock will make his Pro Motocross return this weekend at Unadilla.

Mike Bonacci: Welcome back to racing Coty Schock. Coty will make his return to the track this weekend at Unadilla and is excited to get going. With his body fully healed and some training under his belt, this weekend will be a good test for his return. Coty has quite a few races under his belt at Unadilla and riding press on Friday will get him back in the swing of things quickly.

Schock has been out since Southwick with a broken wrist and he curently sits 21st in the standings with his best finish a 13th overall at Thunder Valley and High Point.

We welcome back Schock to racing and wish Reynolds the best of luck in recovery.
