Rookie Stats Through the First Four Rounds

Four rounds down and seven more to go. There have been many ups and downs so far for the 2024 Pro Motocross rookie class. We’ve had big crashes, led some laps, and we’ve struggled a bit. Let’s take a look at some of the stats so far this year and see how the rookies are ranking among their competitors. How are the rookies ranking up to your preseason predictions? Julien Beaumer

Qualifying – 11.8

Start – 10.4

Finish – 9.1

Best Finish – 6th Overall (High Point)

Points – 9th

Beaumer is the only rookie to finish a moto in the top 10 with his best finish being a 6th. 

Casey Cochran 

Qualifying – 12.8

Start – 20.4

Finish – 17.9

Best Finish – 10th Overall (Hangtown)

Points – 15th

Casey secured the top qualifier spot at Hangtown, the only rookie to do so thus far. 

Daxton Bennick

Qualifying – 19.0

Start – 19.9

Finish – 17.0

Best Finish – 12th Overall (Hangtown)

Points – 18th

While Dax is still finding his way in the pro’s, I still think we could see a top 5 performance out of him.

Mark Fineis

Qualifying – 22.5

Start – 12.6

Finish – 21.5

Best Finish – 12th Overall (Fox Raceway)

Laps Led – 3

Points – 19th

Mark is the only rookie to have lead laps this year and continues to improve every week. 

Ryder Mcnabb

Qualifying – 21.0

Start – 16.5

Finish – 20.4

Best Finish – 16th Overall (High Point)

Points – 21st

The former Canadian champion is starting to find his way. He has improved his average finish by 7.1 positions in 4 rounds.

Lux Turner

Qualifying – 23.0

Start – 24.6

Finish – 26.4

Best Finish – 20th Overall (Fox Raceway)

Points – 23rd

Crockett Myers

Qualifying – 35.5

Start – 26.1

Finish – 27.0

Best Finish – 23rd Overall (Thunder Valley and High Point)

Points – 25th

Jorgen Talviku 

Qualifying – 27.8

Start – 24.5

Finish – 28.5

Best Finish – 22nd Overall (High Point)

Points – 27th
