The injuries continue to pile up in the 250SX West Region.
The series, which has seen Ty Masterpool, Stilez Robertson, and Garrett Marchbanks be ruled out this week, has added another.
Rockstar Energy GasGas announced today that Ryder DiFrancesco, who has gone 4-5 to begin the season, will miss round three of Monster Energy AMA Supercross this Saturday at Anaheim 2. Per the team, Ryder D was injured testing yesterday. He was transported to the local hospital, but the team has not disclosed the extent of his injuries at this time.
Sean Murphy, Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing Team Manager: “I am gutted that we share the news of Ryder D’s practice crash at RD Field yesterday. Ryder was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was evaluated for his injuries. In just his second year of racing Supercross, Ryder had been showing incredible potential and was making significant strides toward the podium. This setback early in the season is gut-wrenching, as Ryder was on an upward trajectory, improving with each round. Our rider’s safety and health will always be our top priority, and we will ensure that Ryder takes the necessary time to recover fully and come back stronger.”
We will update as we know more.
