The future is now! Or so we are told to think. After watching the latest episode of All In you can’t help feel humbled by the reality of the post Loretta Lynn’s adventure a lot of these kids are about to embark on. Some will have break out rides as a professional and secure a top 250 ride while others will set up camp on privateer island until the work and lack of results outweigh the love of the sport and longevity of their bank account. Be it harsh, that is the reality of the situation at hand as we approach Loretta’s week. While it does usually take two years for newly turned pros to start to make some waves as we seen with Jo Shimoda, Pierce Brown, Jalek Swoll and Jett Lawrence seemingly take the class by storm over the last eight months, in their second year. This leaves out one name from the class of ’19 though, your 250 Pro Sport champion from that year, Hardy Munoz. I bet you didn’t remember that. Will this year have a predictable winner or are we going to be left scratching our heads reading the results sheet on Saturday afternoon?
250 Pro Sport
The Regional Champs: We seen some all too familiar names holding Regional Championship #1 plates this year. Levi Kitchen, Brandon Sharer (plz be on a two-stroke), Pierce Knight, Austin Black, Cullin Park, Jace Kessler, Boston Boots and Tommy Rios all captured their respective Regional titles which means something and nothing all in the same.
The Contenders: This list is as deep as the week is long here in Hurricane Mills. Some names that are sure to turn some heads and prove they are not here to f*** around are Jack Chambers, Chance Hymas, Preston Kilroy, Luca Marsalisi, Brandon Ray, Jett Reynolds, Hunter Yoder, Kaeden Amerine, Jack Rogers, Branden Walther and Christopher Blackmer. Theynare all looking to keep the Regional champs on notice letting them know every little mistake will be costly in the long, hot motos of Loretta Lynn’s.
Predictions/Dark Horses: Coming next week.
Open Pro Sport
The Regional Champs: Now some of these names will be duplicates so bear with me here, I type the results as I see them. Levi Kitchen, Brandon Sharer, Pierce Knight, Preston Kilroy, Robby Marshall, Jake Baumert, Luke Kalaitzian and Jace Kessler all found the top spot In their regions leaving a wake of dudes behind them pissed off and ready to show out at The Ranch.
The Contenders: Throw in the same names mentioned in the 250 Pro Sport contenders list then mix in cats like Heath Harrison, Jamal Porter, Riley Ripper, Justin Cokinos, Matthew Curler, Josh Boaz and Andrew Hertzler we are all but guaranteed fireworks on the track.
Predictions/Dark Horses: Coming next week.
From Top Left: Jace Kessler (51), Cullin Park (43), Jack Chambers (102), Jett Reynolds (79), Austin Black (55), Luca Marsalisi (72), Pierce Knight (40), Branden Walther (68), Kaeden Amerine (32), Riley Ripper (76), and last but not least Levi Kitchen (147) and Chance Hymas (832).

Now is where we begin the bench racing as we are t-minus four days from the first gate drop of 250 Pro Sport. We will save predictions for Monday once practice has concluded but eff it, lets talk some moto for a minute
The last time we saw all of the top national talent on the same gate was MONTHS ago now at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship where we witnessed Levi Kitchen rise to the top, until he crashed and was caught under his bike giving Chance Hymas the moto win and the overall in 250 Pro Sport. While that was some what predictable the rest of the class was up for grabs as it is currently. If either of those two have any issues, it leaves the door open for Cullin Park, Jett Reynolds, Jack Chambers, Austin Black, Preston Killroy and Jace Kessler to sink their claws into the pray and charge to the front. Who’s to say Pierce Knight and Branden Walther can’t flex some of that Texas grit and put themselves in good positions for an overall podium? Don’t forget about Luca Marsalisi who made his Pro Sport debut this past spring, making some noise instantly.
Per usual, fitness will be key and I can all but promise you the names above are in shape as most of them have been training with the best of the best in the sport and we have seen, that only elevates the game. You have Kitchen training daily with the Star Racing boys, Hymas racing off-road races out west (oh, winning them as well), Chambers riding at the 83 Compound with The Brothers Lawrence, Cullin Park putting in work at the Moto Sandbox with Tommy Rios and Ken Roczen. All of these dudes are not only riding at some type of facility, they are riding with the top pros in the sport and hopefully the speed and endurance shows just that.
Be on the lookout early next week for some more class predictions, race recaps and rider interviews just to name a few items we are cooking up!
Safe travels to Loretta’s everyone!
