Following a nearly 48 percent pick rate over the first 11 rounds, I’m here to bring you the most flame, fire, fuego, feu, Пожар predictions for the 12th round of Monster Energy Supercross in Seattle.
NONE of this would be possible without the folks at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw.
As always, we will first review my predictions from the last round in Indy…
Prediction | Pierce Brown Podiums Again
Pierce the Veil is looking spicy! He gave Jett a good run before making some mistakes and getting caught by Ram It. But I’m loving his style lately and I really believe Wil Hahn has been a huge help, as Pierce the Veil mentioned after Detroit.
“With Wil, he just holds me accountable every single day and that’s just something I’ve never really had before,” he said. “I think that’s kind of where the growth this year from last year came from. I needed today bad. I put together a solid day for me. I went P2 in qualifying, won the heat, P3 in the main. My first podium, I was P12 in qualifying and it was just all over the place. So, I’m happy to have a steady, drama-free day and just happy to get the ball rolling.”
He rolls to another podium this weekend.
Fourth is the new third. I’ll take some credit. Thanks!
Slawdiction: 4 out of 10.
Prediction | Jett Wins Again
Bold, I know.
I like living on the edge. What can I say.
Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.
Prediction | Malcolm WINS!!!!
I got a Mookie Fever, doggies. I tested negative for COVID, so it could only be Mookie Fever. Dude has been straight fire and a win is coming. This weekend in fact. Stamp it.
“So, for Indy, I’m pretty stoked on cause in the past, Indy’s been pretty rutty so I feel like this is where my bike could even be even better,” he said after Detroit. “And then the next following week is in Seattle that’s another rutty track. So, I feel like we are definitely in the right direction with setup wise. Again, it’s just a matter of getting a good start and doing what I did this past weekend.”
Turn out it was COVID and NOT Mookie Fever. My apologies, fam.
Slawdiction: 0 out of 10.
Prediction | Troy Dog Does Nothing in Indy
For some reason, we gave Troy Dog a press pass for Indy. Bad mistake on our part, as he’ll do nothing all day!
Yep….
Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.
Prediction | A-Ray Makes Another Main
I’M SENDING IT!!!!!!!
Does Deven Raper read Slawdictions and decided to take out A-Ray to prove me wrong? Leading to A-Ray to have to throw down to defend Slawdictions? I’m 99 percent sure this is accurate.
Slawdiction: 5 out of 10 for A-Ray defending Slawdictions.
On to Seattle, the Crown Jewel of the series…
Craig Continues to Roll
The West Region has been off a long time, so you might have forgotten this series belongs to Christian Craig. He’s won four of six rounds and holds a healthy points lead. The break doesn’t matter to Craig as he continues to roll toward his first career title in Seattle.
Tomac Wins Again, Ties Reed
Crazy to think, but Eli Tomac has a legit shot at catching James Stewart for second all-time in Supercross wins. Tomac, currently sitting at 43, only trails Stew by seven. Let’s say he races for two more years, one would think he could catch the Stew. First up though is Chad Reed, who has 44 wins. Tomac wins in Seattle and ties Reed at 44 for fourth all-time.
Moose Can Podiums Again
Marv is having a sneaky good season. He really is. I think Seattle will rut up like Indy and Marvin thrives in these type of conditions. He captures a second straight podium this weekend.
Friese Holeshots
Vince Friese is back in the 250 Class this weekend and you know what that means…. HOLESHOT CITY, BABY! HE’S A DIAPER DANDY WITH THE HOLESHOTS!
Karnow Signs an Exclusive Only Fans Deal
Logan Karnow wrote on his IG story that he turned down a fill-in ride for this weekend, which can only mean one thing: He’s signed an exclusive deal with Only Fans!
