You have to feel bad for Jordon Smith at this point. Dude is uber talented but has dealt with SOOOOOO many injuries the last few years.
He came into the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season with a thumb injury, then crashed at Daytona and had to get 20 stitches in his buttock. If that wasn’t bad enough, he then hurt his shoulder in his heat at Arlington 3 and missed the rest of the season.
Well, that shoulder injury will also cost him all of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, as the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team announced he has “elected to forgo the outdoor season.”
In the last three years, Smith has made just four supercross starts due to injury and this will mark the second straight season he’ll miss all of Pro Motocross after missing 2020 due to a torn ACL sustained at Daytona Supercross.
Smith also posted about his injury and expected recovery.
