Notice that this column now has a sponsor? That’s right! Troy Dog joined the Blu Cru and you should too! I have one in my garage right now and I can’t wait to go shred it! Thank you to Yamaha for believing in my ELITE columns on this dirt bike website enough to sponsor me. What a dream come true! BTW: Have you seen the all-new YZ450F? OH. MY. GOODNESS. I can’t wait to test that bad boy.
Fool me one time, shame on you. Fool me twice and I’ll slide in your DMs asking WTF are WE doing?
Former Star Yamaha prospect, and once a well known sitcom actor, Matt LeBlanc put out a post on Instagram this morning about his bike for sale. Well, if you follow LeBlanc or Levi Kitchen or Nick Romano or anyone from that group you’ll know that their comment section is full of absolute heat. They usually compliment each other’s butts or call one another out on something completely unrelated to the post. My favorite pastime is reading what they come up with.
This morning’s comment section was filled with all kinds of misleading comments from congratulating LeBlanc on his Triumph deal to him saying that he was racing the 450 Class at High Point. Someone even mentioned a fill-in at Star for the injured Guillem Farres. I didn’t believe any of the comments until I got to the one where he said that he was in fact racing this weekend. After all of that the news spread to Twitter and I’m sure the message boards have an eight page thread about it already.
Of course I would have to dive into this story to set the record straight, right? After all, I am up for the AMA Journalist of the Year Award. This piece should seal the deal for me.
Anyway, LeBlanc said, “How you doin’?” Then he told me that those comments about him racing were a joke and “…there’s no comeback as of now.”
So, that should set everyone straight on the LeBlanc news. Unfortunately he’s not coming back to race at the moment, but he hasn’t ruled it out for down the road. It was cool to see everyone excited about the possibility of him coming back though.
LeBlanc told me that he’s enjoying being back home and that his life has been pretty simple lately. He’s been working in a machine shop for the past eight months and on the weekends you can find him either hunting or fishing.
Hopefully one day we will see the return of the #329 in Pro Motocross, but for now it’s nice to see him enjoying some time away from the sport and thriving in real life.
