Vet class warriors from coast to coast, check your schedules or at the very least have your wives (or husbands) write this down. Johnsonville MX Farm is set to play host to one of the most highly anticipated Vet Nationals in recent history. It all goes down April 19th-21st. Vet Racers ages 20 and up from across the lower 48 states will descend upon the loamy soil of Johnsonville MX Farm.
The Track
Johnsonville MX Farm is a staple of the East Texas motocross scene. Rutted corners and wide open straightaways are accented by challenging obstacles which were designed with a safety first and a fun forever approach. The facility as a whole is top notch featuring all the amenities you come to expect from a track hosting a Vet National. Johnsonville MX Farm continues to improve on itself year after year and this year is no different.
Classes
Separated by skill and age group, rest assured that if you’re over 20 years of age and able to ride a dirt bike, there is a class or two for you to get your throttle therapy. From 20 somethings to 70 somethings, there will be a ton of talent and anodized parts to go around. Will you have the pleasure of lining up next to the one and only “Darkside” Jamie Guida or even yours truly? Only time will tell, but what I do know is there is more than just trophies on the line.
Show Me The Money
A classes in all of the following age categories provide pro payout: 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40. Which is awesome! Not only can you line up next to some of the fastest vet racers in the nation, you could very well walk out with a fat check for your troubles. I mean, it’s more likely an envelope full of cash, but the point is that there is money to be made! Get your hands on some of that cash by railing those vet lines faster than anyone in your class.
The Oil and Gas Two Stroke Showdown
It wouldn’t be a vet race without shaking up a little premix and letting those cylinders sing. Run what you brung! Whether it’s a CR500 or a KX125, you can line up and see who still knows how to make the two strokes rip! Don’t worry, Bobby Hedge will be on the microphone all weekend to break down the action and crack a few jokes along the way.
