Slaw knows zero about NASCAR. Jeff Gordon still racing?
What I do know: Team Solitaire is awesome. They just get it.
They have a cool collab with those dudes racing in circles this weekend and we are excited to share it.
Read on below…
“When we decided to form Heartbeat Motorsports, the idea was to create an umbrella that all our sponsored athletes could come together under and feel part of a larger project. Something beyond just their own discipline of racing. A team feeling is what we hoped for. This weekend we’re going to see two of the highest levels of professional motorsports competing in their respective events but simultaneously bearing our brands name and a common livery, it’s hard to articulate the feeling that gives me. As a brand owner but also a huge fan of these sports this is so far beyond what I thought was possible. This truly validates the concept of our motorsports program and at such a high level, it’s so incredible. I’ve never been more proud of the organizations we work with and the individuals behind them that have made this all possible. We have a legitimate team as we dreamt we would. This weekend we will literally watch a dream come true.”
Here are quotes from Ryan Ellis:
“I’ve always been a fan of supercross, my dad raced bikes a lot of his life and transitioned to cars after some big injuries. I was actually put on a bike before a racecar because my dad wanted me to go that route, but literally drove head-first into a fire hydrant within the first few seconds of my first ride (lol this is seriously true). After that short ending to my motocross career, we got a go-kart and the rest is history. I have so much respect for what the supercross riders do – they’re phenomenal athletes and I’d love to come out and see one in person someday!”
“Being a small part of the growth of Heartbeat Hot Sauce has been so cool. First off, I truly do love the hot sauce so I love having another sponsor I can organically plug and market. Secondly, to see their brand continue to invest in all types and levels of motorsports is amazing. Not many people are willing to help racers as they climb motorsports ladders, but Heartbeat has shown that they’re truly a brand that wants to be a part of supporting people’s careers and have fun along the way. I wish we had more folks like them in the racing world. To be able to carry the Heartbeat colors at Daytona, the biggest race of our season, is amazing. It’s a track I dreamt of racing at growing up and I’ve played this race out every night since we signed the deal late last year. It’s the biggest opportunity I’ve ever had – and it’s because of Heartbeat Hot Sauce’s investment in me and my team that we have that.”
Here are quotes from Chris Elliott (Team Solitaire):
“When I first seen the 2023 schedules, I was a little disappointed that none of our dates lined up with anything else the Heartbeat had going on because they are involved in some many unique things whether it’s racing or even the UFC. But with the Oakland round date change, the opportunity to collaborate with their Nascar effort was an option. It’s been a stressful month…putting together all the limited edition gear, helmets, bikes, and marketing efforts in less than 30 days was not easy, but our partners at Leatt, Throttle Syndicate, and Shades of Gray stepped up big cause they knew how much it meant to us to do this for Al, Nancy, and the whole family at Heartbeat Hot Sauce”, said Chris Elliott of Team Solitaire.
“This is what we do, we sit in a room and think…[what would fans be stoked on] and then get to work. The days of showing up to ride into the top 10 and and then pack up your boring old bikes and gear to go home are OVER and if you aren’t lining yourself up with brands that want you to get creative and aren’t afraid to put in the work with you, you are going to get left behind! This kind of stuff doesn’t happen without brands like Leatt, Throttle Syndicate, Shades of Gray, and of course Heartbeat Hot Sauce!”
