The Latest On Justin Barcia Following SMX Playoffs Round 1

Tough weekend for a lot of riders. Jason Anderson, Justin Barcia, Casey Cochran, Jalek Swoll and Phil Nicoletti (to name a few) all sustained injuries at the opening round of the SuperMotocross Playoffs in Charlotte over the weekend.

Barcia, who has been out since Southwick National due to knee and hamstring injuries, was supposed to make his return this weekend but suffered a crash on Friday in the rhythm section and sat out the opener.

According to the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas team Barcia intends to race the second round this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

After missing this weekend, Barcia is currently tied for 16th in points with Colt Nichols.
