Haiden Deegan got 5th overall to start the season, and seems fine and happy with the result.
Jo Shimoda won the 250 class, making that his 3rd SX victory. He also has one SMX overall to his name.
Ken Roczen quietly got the best second of his entire career. The dude stayed pretty quiet in the offseason, but it’s obvious it’s because he had his head down.
Chase Sexton won the 450 Class. 2024 Bike issues resolved? It certainly seems that way. He had the fastest lap time of the night as well with a 1:04.583
For his Kawasaki debut, Jorge Prado pulled the holeshot in the 450 main event. By the 13th lap, he was running 7th before an uncharacteristic mistake put him on the ground and in 15th position. He would end the night in 14th.
Evan Ferry is out with an Achilles injury.
Jett Lawrence rendered his worst ever finish in the 450 class. He managed to get a terrible start and would then go down, meaning he was in 22nd on lap 3. He only managed to make it up to 12th to finish the evening.
Hunter Lawrence only beat his brother by one position, finishing 11th. On Lap 8 he was running 4th before going down and getting up in the same position he’d finish in.
Avery Long, in his supercross debut and only three weeks on a new bike, qualified and ended up 12th overall in the 250 class.
