Welcome to the Top 5 Best Moments of 2020. No, this isn’t a sick joke, we actually found some good in this year.
We’re glass half full types here at Vurb, so looking back on a year that most people would find way more bad than good (and we can’t blame them) we’ll take the other approach and save all our complaints for the Vurb HR Department (which doesn’t actually exist).
So, what are the Top 5 Best Moments of 2020? We’ll release these daily up until the clock strikes midnight. And you thoughts Christmas was over!

In a year that offered little more than stress and anxiety, sports have the ability to bring people together, put personal opinions aside and instill a sense of normalcy. Even if it’s a false sense of normalcy.
While the return of football is cool and all, for the moto community we could care less. Racing is in our blood and the idea of having to skip the most impactful amateur race in the world was too much to consider. We don’t know how they pulled it off, but somehow MX Sports, the Coombs, Tim Cotter and the massive support system they have built over the years managed to pull the rabbit out of the hat once again.
It was also Vurb’s first event back, and what better venue than The Ranch to do it. Reuniting with the amateur community that helped build Vurb into what it is today gave us that warm and fuzzy feeling. Sleeping 10 deep in a motorhome, slamming too many beers while editing videos until 2 a.m. never felt so good.
It was a way for us to get eyes on the next generation of supercross and motocross superstars, and we can attest that the talent level in the amateur ranks is as deep and as fast as it ever was. The future is bright, and we’ll be there to ensure they get the recognition they deserve…unless we go out of business again, that is.
