Travis Pastrana Provides Update Following BASE Jump Accident

As we noted earlier this week, action sports icon Travis Pastrana was hospitalized in Florida on Saturday when a BASE jump stunt went wrong.

The horrifying scene was captured on video, where it appears Pastrana deployed his ‘chute a little too late, causing him to hit the ground with force.

Pastrana has released a few videos on his Instagram explaining what went wrong and luckily said he’s going to make a full recovery. “Usually I shine when shit hits the fan, but it was me that “hit the fan” this time. I will make a full recovery. Information in second video posted here.”
