Watch: Joey Savatgy’s Massive Crash in Qualifying at Detroit

Early start to round 6 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Detroit and in the first 450 qualifying session QuadLock Honda’s Joey Savatgy had a massive crash.

Savagty shared the footage on his IG and boy, this could have been very bad.

“I am not Superman. But I am okay! Better lucky than good they say. 😵‍💫 hand blew off the throttle on take off and then it was see ya later town.”

Big one for Joey in qualifying.

Fortunately Savatagy is ok and should return for the second qualifying session. He finished 16th in the first session.
