As we expected to hear, Yamaha has announced that Eli Tomac will make his return to the Pro Motocross Championship this weekend at Budds Creek.
Yamaha also announced that Cooper Webb will be missing Budds Creek due to the re-injuring of his thumb in the second moto at Unadilla.
It’s a bummer deal for Webb who missed the entire Pro Motocross Championship until coming back last weekend at Unadilla. He sprained his thumb and pulled off during the second moto. It looks like Webb is now on a week-to-week basis.
The four-time Pro Motocross Champion Eli Tomac makes his return to the series for the first time since the end of 2022.
Tomac currently sits 11th in the SMX standings and has recovered from his torn ligaments in his thumb that have kept him out since after the Denver Supercross in May.
