Most Likely is such a banger that our friends at Michelin have already jumped on board! Michelin has had the best tires since tires. So, go buy some new tires for your entire lineup! Hence the title “Most Likely”. Most would call us brilliant.
Each week, Slaw, Troy, Ginger Dog, and Denny Stephenson will come up with some topics and then list the riders most likely to accomplish those feats. Hence the title “Most Likely”. Most would call us brilliant.
Which amateur is most likely going to have the most success as a pro?
T-Dog: It’s hard to bet against Drew Adams right now. He’s the immediate future, but to go ahead and be different than Slaw and pick the more difficult answer, I’ve got to go with Vincent Wey. With his dad’s coaching, the skills to pay the bills, he’s going to be a threat immediately once he gets to the big bike. Stamp it.
Slaw: Drew Adams. Next great red head to invade the sport.
Anstie and Nichols just did it, but are we most likely going to see more riders get out of contracts and sign with other teams?
T-Dog: Add Garrett Marchbanks to the list! I’m afraid we’re seeing a change in the game and guys can get out of contracts easier than ever before, especially with the new playoff system in place. Unless we see teams crack down on this then this will be the new norm going forward.
Slaw: No, status quo continues. These were anomalies.
Which rider most likely has more upside, Jo Shimoda or Chance Hymas?
T-Dog: I’m investing in both of them for the 2025 season, but if I had to choose just one, I’d go with Chance Hymas to be your Pro Motocross champion once Haiden Deegan moves up. Shimoda is also going to be a champion, but I’d expect him to get a regional title first.
Slaw: Can I go both? I think they are both future title contenders.
Could Trey Canard most likely line up for a round of Pro Motocross and get a top five overall?
T-Dog: All day. I watched Trey ride at the 2025 CRF450R Honda intro at Ironman last week and the man still hauls the mail. He’s got one of the most perfect styles on a dirtbike and I was in awe watching him. He was just cruising and had top ten speed, but I would love to see him put on his race pace. If anyone can do it, it’s Trey.
Slaw: Top five? No. Top 10? Sure.
What controversial comment will Haiden Deegan most likely say this weekend?
T-Dog: I don’t know, but for the past eight weeks I’ve been loving every minute of it. Deegs could say the word “the” and get people heated about it. Every Monday morning I’m reporting his comments and you guys can’t get enough of it. I love it!
Slaw: Close your eyes and throw at a dartboard and you’ll have your answer.
Is Levi Kitchen most likely going to go 1-1 at his home track?
T-Dog: I think Chef will go on a run here in these rounds. I say he goes 1-2 for the overall win and he will continue this at Unadilla, Budds Creek, and so on. Deegan has no reason to risk it anymore. As long as he’s on the podium or even top five his point’s lead is safe.
Slaw: 1-1? No. I think he does win the overall though. New haircut, new person.
Is the 250 championship most likely over?
T-Dog: Yes, this is over. God forbid Deegan gets hurt, he can manage this lead by just finishing within the top ten each Moto. Which, he can do that with ease at this point.
Slaw: Yes, it’s 100 percent over.
