We’re not gonna lie, no one at vurbmoto really understands Dakar. We know it’s long, it takes place in a desert and they still use words like ‘bivouac’ … but other than that, not really a clue.
Now though, we can definitely add one more to the list… these dudes are insane! Check out what Factory KTM rider Toby Price did to keep his 2021 dreams alive, as the rules stopped him borrowing another tyre from another dude. We know MTB riders who pull off after bending a spoke, but Price just bust out the duct tape and zip ties and fixed her right up.
So you’re probably thinking that he struggled along, barely finishing… cruising at 20mph the whole time… think again:
The 2021 Dakar still has four more days left to run and there are currently eight guys within 25 mins of each other, so it’s well worht checking out!
