In 2024, the Women’s Professional Motocross Championship (WMX) returned with an eight-round schedule held in conjunction with amateur motocross “majors” and alongside two rounds of AMA Pro Motocross (High Point and Ironman).
One year later, the series is returning as part of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship. MX Sports and the AMA announced a six-round schedule for next year that will run Friday’s before six rounds of the series.
The series will open Friday, May 23 at Pala before visits to Hangtown, Thunder Valley and Ironman. Unadilla and Budds Creek will host the final two rounds of the championship.
