The Vurbmoto World Mini event of the century is coming up on April 4-7 at Mesquite MX. Everyone in the world is invited. Back in the day, our crew never missed a World Mini event. It was a staple on the amateur national circuit and all of the top pros in the 450 class today cut their teeth racing at World Mini. It’s a prestigious event that you’ll need to race to become the next Eli Tomac. Click here to register now.
Want even better news? If you attend World Mini and buy merchandise at the Vurbmoto booth, you will receive 10X, yes 10X, the entries into the Vurbmoto Dreamstakes where you will be entered into a chance to win a Yamaha WOLVERINE RMAX2 1000 Sport, two (2) Yamaha TT-R110E motorcycles, AND $20,000 USD in cash! No purchase necessary. See official rules for details.
Back in the day, our crew never missed a World Mini event. It was a staple on the amateur national circuit and all of the top pros in the 450 class today cut their teeth racing at World Mini. Through the years the event changed hands, then last year WE brought it back in the biggest way ever.
It’s a prestige event that you’ll need to race to become the next Eli Tomac. The trophies are taller than Benny Bloss and the fun your family will have at the event will be even bigger.
Yesterday I was browsing through our World Mini video archives and we have so much goodness that it’s insane. Each week leading up to the event, I’ll pull a pic or video and we’ll talk about it. Here we go!
World Mini 2009 – Sunday
- That opening B roll shot of Travis Baker, Dean Wilson, Les Smith, and Justin Weeks is just iconic to me. The gear, the bikes, the talent, this was my amateur Roman Empire.
- I bought a set of that blue Answer gear.
- Christian Craig with the Fly Racing gear, still tippin’ on fo fo’s.
- Man, what could have been? Zach Bell.
- Man, what could have been? Sean Cantrell.
- This was after the whole Oak Hill drama between Max Anstie and Jason Anderson in the KTM rig. I always assumed Anderson left KTM after that? He raced Loretta Lynn’s on a KTM as well.
- Mandela Effct.
- Landon Currier was an absolute dog.
- Remember Nick Paluzzi? He had a Star Racing deal.
- One Industries Trooper Helmets are iconic.
- The 2009 A class was one of the most stacked of all-time. Don’t @ me.
- Bring back the Red Bull Jams program.
- Dean Wilson has always been a vibe.
- It’s crazy to think that all of these riders had to kickstart their bikes.
